What better way to launch Hawke's Half XPA into the world than to scoop up two gold medals in last night's Indies awards.
It's a tough ask to brew a low-alc that can stand up against some of the country's best mid and full-strength beers, but when we first tasted Half XPA for the 50th time ("pilot phase obligations"), we knew that Brodie and the brew team had made us a belter.
The first-half rollout of this little two-tone belter is underway in select independent bottleshops, BWS and throughout all Dan Murphy's in NSW and ACT.
